Air Freight

Air freight is synonymous with speed and efficiency, catering to industries that deal with perishable goods or items of high value. The technology and pharmaceutical sectors often leverage air freight for its rapid transit times and heightened security protocols.

Rail Freight

Rail transport, a staple in freight management, is lauded for its reliability and capacity to handle substantial cargo volumes. It’s a favorite among industries dealing with bulk commodities, including agriculture and mining.

Road Freight

Road freight serves as the backbone of last-mile deliveries, offering unparalleled flexibility, where tailored delivery schedules and destinations are paramount.

Ocean Freight

Water transport shines in handling massive, heavy cargo over long distances. The agriculture, oil, commodity, manufactured finished goods, and machinery industries often opt for this mode, capitalizing on its cost-effectiveness and capacity.

Our product development team works closely with the customer delivering customers’ specific requirements. CMF Consumer Insight Team analyses the targeted goal, translates data to enable the customer decisions. Our research enables us to help understand what customers and consumers need, and crucially, why they feel this way specifically.

Coops Trading Products

Even today, Africa depends heavily on root vegetables foods. Indeed, without the contributions from cassava, potato, sweet potato, and yam, hunger would spin out of control across the continent. Of those four cornerstones of the current food supply, however, only yam is native to the African Region.

Did you know that Africa has more native grains than any other continent? It has its own species of rice, along with millet, barley, sorghum, teff, several varieties of wheat, and dozens of other wild grains and cereals.

Oil is an essential component of all plants. However, commercial oil production facilities only utilize plants that accumulate large amounts of oil and are readily available. Currently, the largest source of commercial oils is oilseeds: the seeds of annual plants such as soybean, canola, rapeseed, cottonseed, sunflower, peanut, castor, and flax. The second largest source of plant oils includes coconut, oil palm, olive and tung oil.

Integrated Feed & Protein

Protein supply in feed for livestock production is a topic that is an area of concern with the public. As the demand for livestock products is increasing in the integrated food value chain, animal feed has become a critical component. Quality availability of what we eat such as milk, eggs, meat, and other livestock products must be healthy, and nutritious. The demand of the present global markets hinges on a continuous supply of proper, cost-effective, and quality animal feeds.

For CMF, as a feed ingredient and product supplier, adherence to safety concerns is paramount and reflective of the content that goes into our feed making. In the construct of the integrated feed chain, the consumer is demanding assurance and methods used for production must also meet the international food safety protocols.

Integrated Feed Protein Sources

Soybean is one of the most important and chosen sources to be used in animal feed manufacture. Apart from Soybean, maize is another vital grain used as a raw material in animal feed. Paddy husk is another variety of raw material that is used to produce animal feed.

Integrated Feed Challenges for the industry

The global demand for animal feed products is increasing progressively, commensurate feed protein supplies and sources and options must be revisited on a regular basis. Investment in quality assurance programs to retain consumer confidence is a challenge that the industry must tackle urgently.

CMF feed technology integration contributes to enhancing the safety and quality aspects of the protein in the feed. The feed industry needs to come forward and adopt a voluntary code of practice associated with feed protein.

We offer products with full traceability. Environmentally correct protein nutrition also would help in reduced nitrogen excretion and would cut down on pollution levels.

Post-Harvest Waste

While fulfilling the food demand of an increasing population remains a major global concern, more than one-third of farmed food is lost or wasted in postharvest operations. Reducing the postharvest losses, especially in developing countries, could be a sustainable solution to increase food availability, reducing pressure on natural resources, eliminating hunger, and improving farmers’ livelihoods.

Cereal grains are the basis of staple food in most of the developing nations, and account for the maximum postharvest losses on a calorific basis among all agricultural commodities. As much as 50%–60% cereal grains can be lost during the storage stage due to the lack of technical inefficiency. Use of scientific storage methods can reduce these losses to as low as 1%–2%.

Freight Management

Today’s growth in the logistics industry has brought to light the importance of intermodal transportation. Leveraging different modes, CMF chooses the most efficient route to deliver freight, optimizing the supply chains and reducing freight payment complexities, especially for international shipments. A blend of technology, logistics expertise, and meticulous operations ensures that goods easily traverse complexities.

Transporting freight involves many options, each tailored to specific needs and types of cargo. While road transportation often emerges as a ubiquitous choice due to its flexibility, other modes are equally pivotal, carving their niche in the vast freight transport landscape.
